In the next dropdown box labeled “Which Passive Monitor would you like to add” choose the name of the monitor you create earlier.In the “Which Passive Monitor type would you like to add?” dropdown box choose “Windows Event Log”.In the device properties section click on the plus icon and choose Passive Monitor > Windows Event Log.

After you have setup your new Passive Monitor navigate to a device in “My Network” to which you want to add our monitor too and open its properties.

Make sure the Parameter is set to “Event ID”, Operator is “Equals” and then enter your Event ID in the “Value” field at the bottom as shown below In this instruction I will be using Event ID = 4624 You can find the Event ID from Windows Event Viewer.
